Before You Reserve

When will my board ship?

First-edition boards are estimated to ship in December 2026. Your preorder holds your place in that first production batch.

What does the preorder cost, and when am I charged?

The first-edition board is $999, charged when you preorder.

What is your return policy?

You can return the product only if the package was not opened. You'll need to pay for the shipping back, plus a 20% restocking fee (our team will open the box, test, and repack the item before reshipping).

What happens when the 72-hour window closes?

The first edition closes when the timer hits zero or when all 1,000 numbered boards are claimed, whichever comes first. Numbers are not reissued afterwards.

How does the numbering work?

Numbers run from No. 0001 to No. 1,000 and are assigned in the order boards are preordered. Your number is locked to your order the moment you preorder, and it is inscribed on your board and on your certificate of authenticity.

Does it work with my Chess.com or Lichess?

Yes. You can challenge players around the world through Chess.com and Lichess, and play the whole game on the physical board.
